Fine, I’ll admit it. I think they did a pretty good job with the new 155. But I wonder… out of all the ones that look cool, how many of them actually have good stats? (I don’t like using pokemon with base stats below 500.)
A lot of people always say “YEAH, THE ORIGINAL 150’S THE BEST. I HATE THE NEW ONES BLAHBLAHBLAHBAHLABAHL” …I guess that’s somewhat true. I mean, they’re the ones everyone grew up on and the original starters are the most badass. But I wouldn’t go as far as to discredit the new ones. A lot of pokemon after generation 1 are awesome! And for people who really love it for more than just a tv show they watched when you were little, a new region with new pokemon means so many more possibilities, combinations, and strategies for battling! I find it so exciting.
My friend sent me the ROM for Black, but I don’t want to spoil it for myself. I’m just going to wait till it comes out in English so I can actually understand what’s happening, hahahI really like some of the new ones too except I bet all the stupid ones have silly stats. Or good stats but a limited movepool. My favourites are 55, 99, and 143. They’re cute :3.
However, WHAT THE FUCK IS NUMBER 75?! This type of pokemon is the pokemon say that all the new ones are shit.
Anyway, I’m excited.

This is definitely the most inspired design/art direction of new Pokemon since perhaps even the originals though. Even if it leads to weird stuff like 75.
